QuestionMy Hunter SRC Plus Controller has ceased to be reliable after six years of service on the five stations.
It will only intermittently operate any one or all of the stations and then only a large amount of button pushing on the control panel.
I have tried unplugging the AC and the battery, resetting the controller and manually running single and all stations. Sometimes, a station (or all stations) will run as shown. But, it's by guess and by golly (not like before when the programmed times would run, the manual would operate perfectly).
We do not have a rain sensor on the system.
Any ideas?
AnswerHey Susie, the controller is faulty and not worth repairing. Install a new controller, but not a Hunter. Purchase either a Irri-trol "Rain-Dial" series controller, or a Rainbird "ESP" series controller. Both are easy to program and will last a long time. Good luck and have a great day.
