QuestionQUESTION: We shut down our rain dialer over winter and when we went to start it up I can set everything but the "today" will not change when I press - or + . It is going to the next day after 24 hours but cannot get the system start up and go because it is stuck on the wrong day. I did clear memory already any suggestions? Also changed out battery.
ANSWER: Hi
Set the skip days feature off, and set the date, time, start time, days to water and stations watering time. This should solve the problem. If not disconnect the power to the controller, wait for 1 minute and reconnect it.

QUESTION: Hi Guillermo,
I did try that and didn't reset it. It is funny the + or - will change the time, change how much time but won't move the Today (abbreviation) but it moves as 24 hours progresses. Also if we turn on the system from the actual box where all the valves are we can't turn it off from the control box. So the system comes up by manually going and turning it on but not from the actual system box. Any other ideas.
AnswerSkip Days Schedule
Turn the Dial to Skip Days. 揝KIP?is displayed. Press the +/- Buttons to
set the day interval between watering (01 ?15 days). For example, to
water every day, set 01. To water every third day, set 03, etc.
Press the Next Button to select the current DAY (1?5) of the Skip Days
schedule. This determines when the watering interval will begin. At the day change
(midnight), the DAY number automatically increases by one. When the SKIP and
DAY numbers are equal, watering will occur at the first scheduled start time.
Note: If an Odd/Evn schedule is in use, it must be set to 揙FF?before a Skip Days
schedule can be set. (See page 19, 揥hat the Display Means.?
You usually don't need to set today or day unless you are using the Skip Days Schedule. Don't worry about it. I don't know witch specific model you have but you only have to set: Program (A, B, C) the start time, the days to water and the time for each zone.
You can find the instructions for programming in the controller manual, just in case you lost it, you can find one at http://www.coastwaterworks.com/irrigation/irrigation_manuals.htm
