AnswerHey Gary, if neither of the valves is working, then the first thing to check, is if the main water supply valve is turned on.Next check and see if you have a master valve hooked to the system. to find out if you do, look in the back of the controller, and see if you have a wire hooked to the MV (master valve) or pump start terminal. If you do, then the master valve might be faulty, and needs to be replaced. It could also be the valves are faulty, or the wire going to the valves is either cut or faulty. First thing to do, is turn on a valve manually by the controller, or when the system is running, and check the valves in the field, and see if the solenoids are receiving 22 to 24 volts. You might also want to check the voltage at the terminals in back of the controller when the system is running, and see if you are getting 22 to 24 volts between the hot valve terminal to the valve and the common wire to the valve. If you are not getting the proper voltage, the controller might be faulty. Your problem could be a number of things, but hopefully this will give you a start. Good luck and have a great day.
