QuestionThe zone knob and indicator arrow have become disconnected (turning the knob does not move the arrow). I can turn the know and you hear it clicking but I cannot adjust the time setting. Is this repairable or does this old controller need to be replaced? Thank you.
AnswerHey Henry, this controller is no longer made, so it is hard to get parts. One thing I could suggest, is that if you are not using all of the zones, you could (lets say zone #1 knob is broken) move the hot wire from zone #1 to zone #7 (if #7 is not being used) and then just not have to use zone #1. This will work if you are not using all the zones, if you are, then you are better off replacing the unit. I would recommend the Rainbird ESP series controller, it is easy to program, and will last a long time. Good luck and have a great day.
