QuestionI currently have the unit programmed for 2 cycles, A & B. I unplugged it to do some work on the house and when replugged, the display was blinking. I then disconnected the unit and also changed the battery. I then reprogrammed it. Now when it cycles through A & B, the sprinkler then does cycle A again. It's an old unit and I think it may need replacing. No wires were disturbed or changed. Thx!
AnswerHey LJ, what you want to check is that you only have # 1 start time programmed in. For instance, lets say you have a start time at 8:00am, and the cycle runs for 30 minutes, and you also have a start time #2 set for 8:15am. What the controller does, is wait for the cylcle to finish running, so it starts at 8:00am and finishes at 8:30am, and then if you have programmed a second start time between 8:00am and 8:30am, the controller will start the second start time, as soon as the first cycle finishes, or immediately after, thus it will cycle again. Check you start times, and make sure you only have 1 start time programmed in. Good luck and have a great day.
