QUESTION: I have a Hydrotek 4000 sprinkler system.  I can't turn it on during the daytime anymore because the pressure is way too low.  Now I can't get it to even sound like its turning on anytime!  It works from the timer at early morning, but I can't turn it on manually... sometimes it hums a little, like its trying to turn on, sometimes nothing. Can you tell me what's wrong? Thanks.

I need a little more information to be helpful. I understood you have a Hydrotek 4000 INDEX VALVE. You should have also some backflow preventer before the valve and a timer.

Which timer you have? is an Intermatik or K Rain, which model.

When you says it hums from where the sound comes? the K 4000 or the backflow valve, Both makes sounds.

QUESTION: It's a K Rain timer. The sound is coming from the motor when I turned the
black valve and got water running, it worked once and hasn't worked sonic
