QuestionQUESTION: Hi There:
My sprinkler system set up box is not fuctioning. It appears to have no power, however it is plugged in and has a new battery. Is there a fuse or another part that I should check?
The system was working normally until about a month ago and now there is no display showing up.
Please help before my lawn dies.
Thank you!
Mia
ANSWER: Hi Mia,
Probably the transformer is the problem, but please provide me with the controler model, so I can help.
Thanks

QUESTION: Thank you, Guillermo!
Here is what I find on the unit:
Rain Dial by Hardie copyright 1994 27631
Is that the model number?
There is a clear label on the side of the unit that is in very small print. I need to find a magnifying glass to be able to read it so I'm hoping that the number above is the model number :)
Best,
Mia
AnswerHi Mia
Thanks for the info
Check the house circuit breaker panel to be sure you have power to the outlet if it is an indoor model or to the junction box if it is an outdoor model.
Make sure that the ribbon wires are secured connected.
Some models have a fuse that you can see when open the front panel.
With a fresh battery you should be able to see the time in the display, if not the controller is damaged.
If the door has been open and has been raining mostly the controller is damaged, because the logic board is located in the front panel.
Good luck
Guillermo
Pd if you need an manual go to and look under irritrol or hardie for Rain Dial.
