QuestionQUESTION: I'm working with a Hardie TC-800 controller and would like to add the fifth system(of 8) into the schedule and cannot find the answer in the instructions printed on the door. Thank you for any assistance.
ANSWER: Hi Garret
I assume you mean the station 5 that is already wired from the controller to the valve. If you have an operating program just add time to the station five, follow this instructions:
Step 2. RUN TIMES. Run times indicate how long each station will be
ON in seconds, minutes or hours.
To set run times, press the RUN TIMES key. The 4 f keys allow you to
change the values in the display. (There are up to 24 stations depending
on the Touch Command Controller model.) Run times may be set from 1
59 seconds, 1-59 minutes, 1.0 to 9.9 hours or 10 to 15 hours. SEC, MIN and HOUR will be noted on the display.
If you need a manual for your controller go to: http://www.coastwaterworks.com/irrigation_3/irrigation_manuals/TouchCom.pdf

QUESTION: Thank you for the answer, but the time setting is at the length which I want, but it does not come in sequence when trying to set start time.
Thanks again
AnswerHi Garret
Did you download the manual? it can help you.
I'm pretty confused, do you have a program, lets say Program A with
with settings to:Start time, Days to water, valve times for four zones and you are trying to add a new zone # 5. You don't have to set start time for each zone, only for the program. In each program you can set up to 8 start times in order to run the program up to 8 times a day, usually we don't set more than one start time a day (we in Florida have water restrictions). So if you set your program as follows:
Program A Start time 4:00AM
Days to Water: Tu and Th
Watering times: Zone 1: 15m, zone 2: 15m, zone 3: 15M, zone 4:15m, zone 5 15m
This mean the program A will start at 4:00AM on Tuesdays and Thursdays and will run from 4:00AM to 5:15AM.
Please let me know if this what you want
