Guillermo,
Recently we had a power surge at our house, where the power went out for a minute and kick back on. I noticed the my RainBird Control Panel is completely blank. I have try unplugging it for a minute and pressing the reset buttom. Still nothing happens, could it be the plug-in transformer that could have gone bad? There is power to my wall plug and my breaker never went out. Please advise.

Hi Jimmy

Using a multimeter measure the power at the wires inside the controller marked 24VAC, if you have 24Volts there the controller is damaged, if no power chances are that only the transformer burns. Some Rain Bird models have a fuse, check it.
