Question
We moved into this house two years ago and have never been able to run the
Hardie system and cannot find anyone who can.  We live in Portland, Oregon and
would love to hire someone to come and look at our system and get it running.  
Do you have any suggestions?  I know the company was sold and I cannot find

Hey Lois, if you need a manual for the controller go to www.coastwaterworks.com, and they will have a manual you can download. I'm not familiar with anyone in the Portland area, but I would suggest checking with the BBB in your area, or any friends that might be  able to give you a recommendation on a good company to call.The Hardie company was bought by Irri-trol, and they have a "Rain- Dial" controller that is the newest version of the old HR-6100. The 6100 hasn't been made fo about 12 or more years. It might be better to install a new controller if this one doesn't function properly. Also, there are many factors on why the system might not be working besides the controller. It could be a valve issue, wire issue, main valve issue, etc. Good luck and have a great day.
