QuestionHi Jim:
Recently I repaired a light switch in the kitchen not related to the control box for the sprinkler.
I shut on and off the breakers to complete this repair. Once the breakers were back on , I noticed that the control box for the sprinkler was "blank". There are no functions at all. I found a 9v battery that needed to be replaced and did, however the control box does not LIGHT UP.
There are no functions and I cannot turn the water on.
Any suggestions on what may of gone wrong?
Thank you, in advance,
Milton.
AnswerHey Milton, there could have been a power surge. What I would try, is take out the battery, then disconnect the power for about 1 minute, and then power the controller back up "without" the battery installed, and see if the display works. If you are still having problems it is probably time to replace the controller. Let me know if you have anymore questions, thanks and have a great day.
