Hi Jim,
 Hunter XC Controller installed with new system last year.  Several times would find that controller was blank and had to hit reset button on GFI outlet to start system working (green light on GFI)  At beginning of this season, controller had no display, had power to GFI outlet, but no green light.  Technician replaced controller.  System ran for two weeks, now controller display is blank again, but GFI is green.  What could be causing these problems?  Thanks for your help.

Hey Bob, you could have a short in the wires going to the valves, or a short in one of the solenoids. Also, we have never had good luck with the Hunter controllers. I would suggest replacing it with either a Rainbird ESP series controller, or the Irri-trol "Rain-dial" controller. Good luck and have a great day.
