QuestionHello, my irrigation system runs off of Richdel valves and Rainbird timer. Recently, there is decreased water pressure when the system is operated automatically by the Rainbird timer. When I activate each station manually by turning the small knob on the Richdel valve for each station, there is high, full water pressure. Do you suspect that in all 8 station valves the diaphragm need replacement? Or do you suspect some wiring problem? I'm stumped! Desperately waiting for advice.
AnswerHey Sharon, I would suggest replacing the diaphram in one of the valves first, then trying it with the controller, and if it works good, then replacing the rest of the diaphrams. Normally if it was a wiring or solenoid issue, the valves would not go on at all. Good luck and have a great day.
