Question
The fuse that my sprinkler system keeps blowing out.  Then, when I reset the switch the sprinklers only work sometimes.  I'm not sure what the problem is.  The sprinklers will act like their going to pop up (I can hear the sound of it kicking on), but then they shut off. Any suggestions?

Hey Cass, more than likely the solenoid is shorting out the controller. A solenoid is very simple to replace, it simply unscrews from the top of the valve, and you screw a new one on. Also you will need to hook the wires from the old solenoid back  up to the new solenoid. Good luck and have a great day.
