Question
I have a Toro Vision II control box and all zones are watering fine except zone 6 - nothing happens, even when I use the manual switch.  I have read earlier posts but am not sure what the solenoid is so that I can check it.  I have opened the wiring area of the control box and disconnected and reconnected the wire that is attached to the #6 screw. What else do I need to do?

You have to go to the valve box, probably underground, check for a green round or square box, unusually says: irrigation control box. Some times you have one box with all the valves, some times you have one box for each valve and are in different places around the house. When you find the box or boxes open it you will see the valve and the selenoid with two wires, start one zone you know is working, turn the selenoid 1/4 turn to the left to open the water see if this is the zone 6, when you found replace the selenoid, if the problem continues probably you will need to clean the valve.
