i have tool with a hex on one end and a plastic tool. the plastic is to adjust the swing?  Tom

Hi tom,
The hex is for adjust the reach at the hole over the nozzle and the free the nozzle. If you unscrew too much you could lost the nozzle. The plastic is for raise the head, using the hole with the same shape and for adjust the arc (swing) in the hole marked with plus and minus.
