QuestionWe have a Hunter with a SRC control. It will not come on with a program setting and if you try to run it manually it will not come on until at least noon. You can then use manual control and all stations will run. I have checked the time and date, the program, we have disconnected the rain sensor, we have tired running it on run by pass sensor. Nothing works. We have been in the house 6 years and this has just started. I have changed the battery, the fuse. It has power and the date and time is always correct. Will the valves work if they are getting wet because it is weird that they work in the afternoon and evening. I was going to have my neighbor check their zone and see it is wetting the box? How any ideas and what else to check?
AnswerHey Lorraine, normally if there is a problem with the actual valves, wires, etc. the fuse will blow, or the display will flash. I doubt there is a problem out in the field. It could have something to do with the temperature but this is also something that is not common. Your controller could be having issues with the micro-processor. All I can suggest is taking to an irrigation supply store and have them do a check-up on it for you. Good luck and have a great day.
