Question
My rain dial is only sending about 15 volts to my solenoids.
The transformer is making 24vac. Do I need to replace?

Hey Fred, first thing to do is try checking the voltage at the controller outputs. For instance, lets check zone(valve) #1. Disconnect the field wire in the back of the controller hooked to terminal #1, and also disconnect the field wire to your common terminal (terminal C ). Now turn on valve #1, and check the voltage between the common terminal, and terminal #1. If it reads 24 volts, then you have a problem in the wires running to the valves. If it still only reads 15 volts, then you either need to replace the circuit board, or the controller panel. Let me know if I can be of further help, thanks and have a great day.
