Hunter Pro-C controller problem

Question
I have a Hunter Pro-C controller, with 9 station capability, which is approximately 10 years old.  I have 7 zones active.  When attempting to set the run time, it will only recognize zones 1 through 4.  If I run the system manually it will recognize and operate all 7 zones.  I attempted to reset the system the two ways described in the manual.  The system did reset, but the problem persists.  All wiring appears intact.  Could it be a problem with the control panel itself?  Thank you.

Answer
Hey Jim,

The Hunter PRO-C has modules that that to lock in place. Please check the locking mechanism to make sure they locked in. If they are not secure the timer will not recognize the modules. It sounds like they by be making contact but are not locked into position. Please remember to unplug the timer and remove the battery when you lock them into place. If the issue persists it may be time for a new timer. The Hunter PRO-C is still a very capable timer and if you replace it with another one your holes in the wall and wire will match up with a new one precisely as the one you have now.
