QuestionI have a 4 cycle Hardie system in my front yard and one cycle won't shut off nor respond to the control box. It runs continually and the only way I can shut it off is to close the main valve to the system. The other cycles work fine. is it a faulty valve?
AnswerHey Tom, you are on the right track. It sounds as though either you have a faulty or stuck solenoid, or a bad diaphram. Either item is fairly east to replace, and you could do it yourself, you just need to know what size, brand , and model # valve you have, it is normally on the valve itself. Go to www.irrigationtutorials.com, and this is a great website that will show you how to fix your valve. Good luck and have great day.
