Question
Nelson contol panel is reading Er2 and flashing. Sprinkler system when tested makes a click sound but sprinklers nor the pump is  turning on. What does Er2 mean? I unplugged it but still flashing the same.

Hey Pam, sorry this has taken awhile, we've had a family emergency, but all is well now. In the back of the control panel, there is a reset button, you will need to reset this button for the display to go back to normal. One of two reasons this is flashing this message, #1 you have a short in the system, either a falulty wire, or a bad solenoid on the valve. #2, if when you reset the controller, you still get the Er2 message, then the front panel is faulty, and you need to replace the front panel.
