Irrigation Zones

Question
QUESTION: I recently turned off all of my control valves on my 4 zone irrigation system.  After I did that, and opened up the valves again, when I turn on the controller now, manually, all 4 zones come on at the same time.  I'm not sure what happened, but everything had been working normally up until this point.  Do you have any suggestions or methods I can try to get this problem resolved?

ANSWER: Matt,

Did you turn all of the valves off from the timer or manually from the solenoid or bleeder screw? And when you say you turned on all the valves again what does that mean? From the solenoid/bleeder screw or how?

Thanks,

Bob

QUESTION: I turned off all the valves off manually from the timer.  I saw water still coming out of one of the heads (thinking I had a leak) and then turned off the valves manually at the solenoid.  When I turned them back on at the solenoid I thought everything would work normally again.  I then turned on zone one manually at the timer and all zones came on at this time.  Does this explain it better?

Answer
Please make sure that ALL the valves are in the off position (manually meaning at the solenoid/bleeder screw, don't over tighten or you will cause additional issues)

The timer turns the valves on and off so you don't want to have a valve left "on" manually

Let me know if this helps, if not we can troubleshoot further
