Question
System is reading off. I have changed 3 volt battery and fuse. The system seemed to react for approximately 3 minutes but then went back into off mode. Removed fuse and battery again but was not able to make system react??

Dear Anthony, not knowing what model Rainbird controller you have, I'm going to assume a few things. If the display is showing Pr off, it means that you are not getting any power to the controller. Check your 110 volt supply to the controller, and also check that the transformer is putting out between 24 to 26 volts. If your 110 volt supply is good to the transformer, and the transformer is putting out the correct voltage, and the fuse is good, then the problem is with the controller and it is time to get a new one.If the transformer is not putting out the correct voltage, then you can just replace the transformer.
