Question
My son bought a house that has a orbit timer 6 station. When we try to turn it on manually from the timer we get a on/off on/off message on the display. we can turn sprinklers on from the irrigation box by turning the little black buttons but not from the timer. Two of the solenoids have "blown out" looking sides.

Hey Kathi, more than likely the solenoids are shorting out the controller. The solenoids are fairly easy to change, they simply unscrew from the body (counterclockwise). Also the two wires need to be hooked back up, just make sure you use the same two  wires from the old solenoid to the new solenoid.
