Question
I have a system that is using 3/4" rainjet classic valves. I have been told this company doesnt exist any more. Can i still get these,i have one that is leaking a lot !, or are Rainbird products interchangeable? Many thanks, Roy

Hey Roy, I'm not exactly sure if you can buy repair parts anymore for the Rainjet valves, but you might check at Home Depot, they have a brand called Orbit, that might be the same. You would need to take the valve apart and check if the diaphram is the same. Rainbird parts would not work to repair this valve. If you replaced the whole valve you could use a Rainbird valve. I would suggest the model DV-100. This is an excellent valve, and would last much longer than the cheaper brands. The only thing with th Rainbird DV-100 valve, is that it is a 1" valve, but you could put a bushing in it to reduce it to 3/4" size. Good luck and let me know if you need anymore help.
