Question
I have wired the above controller to 6 valves, i have linked one wire on all the solenoids back to the common and then one wire back to each of the stations on the terminal strip. the problem i am having is that when a station is switched on all the valves open at once (for a second or two) and then all shut off except for the station that is being switched on.  Thanks in advance

It sounds like you are getting a power signal to all of the valves at once.  Make sure that your common wire connections are secure, and completely separated from the valve wires.  Each valve wire needs to be connected to only one wire on the valve solenoid, and then each to a separate terminal on the controller.  Valve wires should not be connected together.
