QuestionCan you point me in the right direction? I replaced the fuse which was blown with a new one and still "No Power" I have checked the circuit breaker and outlet all is fine. I even replaced the 3 V battery and still "No Power"....I went to a hardware store a purchased the only option available the UT-1 Universal. Eureka!!! This worked for three station and then stopped...Uggg "No Power"...I Unplugged the UT-1 which was very hot (must have fried). I am assuming this was the wrong type of transformer. Which means I am still in need of a replacement plug right? Unfortunately none of the big box hardware stores carry such an option. Any Ideas on where to acquire such a transformer?
AnswerHey Christian, I hope this helps. Any irrigation supply store should carry the transformer you need. I would be a little concerned about what you are telling me. When you replaced the fuse, did you put in the same size (0.5 amp). Also, if the transformers keep shorting out, you might have a short in the controller, or in the field wires, or solenoids on the valves. If the fuse blows, that indicates a problem in the field wires(short) or solenoids (short).I would make sure the problem is not out in the field, before going to the expense of buying transformers, or a new controller. Let me know if I can be of anymore help, thanks and have a great day.
