Sprinkler valves

Question
I'm looking for a sprinkler valve that will open without any significant water pressure behind it. I'm trying to use a sprinkler valve to drain water from a 50 gallon tank. I'd like to be able to use a typical multi-station sprinkler controller to schedule regular openings of the valve, but I'd only have the pressure of 50-60 gallons of water in a tank. Do you know of any sprinkler valves (preferably 1") that would be able to fully open and fully close just with power and a signal from a normal sprinkler controller?

Thanks,

Rick

Answer
Hey Rick, I hope this helps. Toro makes an automatic valve called the EZ-Flo series that operates from 10psi to 150psi. This is the lowest psi (10psi) valve that I know of. If you could mount the valve below the tank(out the bottom), then it would probably work. You could hook a pressure gauge at the opening, just to see how many psi you are getting. As the water is let out of the tank, the psi would drop, and there would be no way that all the water would drain out.Well good luck and have a great day.
