QuestionI have a Hardie Irrigation 604201 programmer for my sprinkler system. I have programmed the controller to water on the following stations:
Station 1 Start 5:00 15 minutes
Station 2 Start 5:15 15 minutes
Station 3 Start 5:30 15 minutes
Station 4 Start 5:45 15 minutes
Station 5 Start 6:00 15 minutes
Station 6 Start 6:15 15 minutes
Station 7 Start 6:30 15 minutes
Station 8 Start 6:45 15 minutes
The program is set for every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
It is set to RUN, and the program starts at 5am every M, W, and F. My problem is that the sprinklers won't stop! They jump from station 8 back to station 1. Sometimes I forget to check in the morning - and they are still going when I get home from work. My water bill is out of control!
Any ideas what may be going on?
I might scratch this "Program A" and try again on "Program B" - can't think of anything else.

AnswerHey Tanya, I hope this helps. It is very simple, all you need to do, is eliminate all of your start times, except for your first start time. The start times are for the whole program, and not for the individual stations. What's happening, is that the controller, at 5;00, goes to station #1 and runs it for the amount of time it is set for(15 minutes) and then when this station is done running, it goes to station #2 and runs station #2 for the time it is set for(15 minutes ) and so on through all the valves. If you set another start time in, the controller first runs all the stations on the first start time, and then if a second start time is entered, it will repeat the cycle again. You have 8 start times entered, so it will run 8 cycles.Again the start times are for the whole program, not for the individual stations. Think of it as the first start time, the second start time, the third start time(for the whole program) etc. Simply turn all the start times off, except for the first start time.
