Question
We bought our house last fall with this system in place. Looks to be original when the house was built 13 years ago. The system is 446PRI. A few days ago a zone when active, unknown to me, and ran overnight. I put the zone switches in off position. Then a little while later, the system display showing current time and zones when active went completely blank, like the wires had been cut.  Power is good, wiring looks good, and no breakers blown. I replaced the back-up battery but still nothing. Please advise. Thanks alot, I appreciate your time and expertise!

Hey Roger, I hope this helps. With experience, get rid of this controller and install a new one. I would recommend either a Rainbird SST model, or an Irritrol "Rain dial" controller. Both are very good and easy to install and program. Good luck and have a great day.
