QuestionI have one zone one my Toro Vision 1 Sprinkler system that will not cycle off ... it stays on constantly. In order to shut it down, I have to turn the water main off. All other zones work fine. Thanks in advance for your help!
AnswerDear Alan, I hope this helps. The problem is in the valve itself. You would either have to rebuild the valve, or replace the valve. Sometimes a valve will stick on, just because the plunger in the solenoid is stuck in the up position. The first thing to try, because it is the easiest thing to replace, would be to replace the solenoid on the valve. The next thing to do, would be to replace the diaphram in the valve. Or you could also replace the valve, but this is a little bit more work involved. A good website to show either how to rebuild or replace a valve, is www.irrigationtutorials.com. Good luck and let me know if I can be of anymore help, thanks and have a great day.
