My system has 5 zones they all work however the fith zone will not come on, a message flashes on the controller saying "FUSE", what does this mean?

Hey Joe, I hope this helps. This message is telling you that you have a short in the #5 valve. More than likely it is the solenoid on this valve. They are very easy to replace, they just un-screw from the top of the valve, and a new one screws back on. The 2 wires just need to be hooked back to the two wires that you un-hook from the old solenoid, but it doesn't matter which wire goes to which old wire (there is not a dedicated hot or neutral from the solenoid). You just need to match which Manufacturer and model valve you have, when you buy the new solenoid. If it is not the solenoid, then you have a short in the wire from the controller to the valve.
