Question
I have Hardie Irrigation unit. It was working fine until now. The display is OK, but it looks like the signal either does not get sent by control unit or is not received by  control valve. What could be wrong?

First check all the wiring connections both at the controller and at the valves.  Make sure the common wire is connected to all the valves, and has no shorts in it. You should reset the controller by disconnecting the power and battery backup for 5 minutes then restore power and reprogram.  You can check the output of the controller with an electrical meter.  Set the meter to read AC volts on 120 or lower if possible, and touch the black probe to the common terminal, red to the zone terminal.  If there is no output, replace the controller.  If the output is ok, you likely have a problem with the wiring.
