QuestionCan I add a rain sensor to a Toro Vision 1 series? Where do I attach the wire to the inside box? Any other way to have the sensor know that that it has rained over a 1/4 and not turn on?
AnswerHey Evan, I hope this helps. On any controller you can install a rain sensor. Basically the type to get would basically stop the continuity in the common wire(field wire that runs to the valves,not the 110 volt common wire). In the controller, you need to take the C (common) wire off of the terminal, and hook it to the one end of the wire from the sensor. The other end of the rain sensor wire needs to attach to the common terminal. This is the only way I know how to install a sensor. Good luck and have a great day.
