RainBird ESP-6TM stopped working

Question
Went to run a manual cycle on my RainBird ESP-6TM and nothing happened. Controller is working, as it is showing the zone and the flashing time remaining as it runs down, but heads are not coming up. Typically a 'water flowing' noise comes from the water heater area whenever the sprinkler system comes up which tells me water is dispensed and the noise is not coming anymore. I didn't see any wires, so we did not touch anything in that area.  I have used it several times for the past 3 years and everything was working. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Answer
Hey Guzzar, I hope this helps. To determine if the problem is in the controller, or in field somewhere, you need to check the controller first. Take a volt/ohm meter, and touch the positive lead to the terminal in the back of the controller marked #1 and the neutral lead to the terminal marked C(common). With station # 1 manually start this station and see what kind of reading you are getting. It should be between 22 to 26 volts. If you're getting a good reading, then the controller is fine, and the problem is out in the field somewhere. If the problem is in the field, the first thing I would check, is to make sure the main turn on valve to the sprinklers is turned on. The second thing I would check, is the wire connections at the valves themselves. Do you have more than one valve (stations) ? If you do and none of the valves are working, then I would suspect the common wire connection to all the valves is bad. The other thing that could be wrong is the wires to the valves could be bad, or the valves themselves could be bad. Check the controller and wire connections first and let me know if I can be of anymore help. Thanks and have a great day.
