QuestionHi Jim,
My mom has a Rainbird ESP-4 controller. This morning I was replacing one of the heads that had been cut when I mowed. I put on the new head, flushed it out using the white flush cap, and then put on the new nozzle. Now for some reason, none of the stations work. The only thing that I did wrong (I think) was that I left off the filter screen on the head initially. But that should not cause all of the stations to not work, should it? Any help would be appreciated -- especially since tomorrow is Mother's Day and Mom won't be too happy with her sprinkler system not working! Thanks
John
AnswerDear John, I hope your mom has a happy mothers day. Sounds like she has a good son. I would check around where you dug out the head, and make sure you didn't cut a wire. Also make sure that the controller has power to it, and the main water valve is on to the sprinkling system. Otherwise it could be a number of things, from the controller not working right, to a bad wire, to a bad valve. I hope this helps, let me know if I can help anymore. Thanks and have a great day.
