Question
My system is scheduled to run 1 day a week (Tues).  It came on a 10am and it is now 2pm.  No matter what I do I can't get it to shut off.  I even turned the power of to it.  All zones I can shut down except for zone 1 and it runs even when the others are on and it hasn't done this before.  Please help my backyard is now a swamp and my water bill will be outragious.  Thanks, Brenda

Locate the valve that controls the water flow to that zone and shut it off manually. There should be a knob on the top of the valve to do this.  Then open it back up.  If it continues to run, shut off the water supply to the system and dissemble the valve by removing the screws in the top, remove the internal parts carefully, and inspect them for damage (the rubber diaphragm is the most usual cause), If they are OK, clean the parts, replace and fire up the system again.  I hope this helps.
