Question
I have a sprinkler system that consists of 6 zones but for some reason it runs fine for zones 1-4, it apparently goes through section 5 (time wise) but no water comes through for this section for this time, then it goes through 6 w/o a problem.
Not sure for how long zone 5 has not been working.  I've tried running the whole cycle manually but same results.  Also, tried running just zone 5 but nothing happens.  My guess at this point is that no signal is sent to zone 5 when it comes to it.  I don't hear the water trying to run through any of the 3 heads (I don't think the issue is with a clogged head).  Any ideas?  Thanks

You need to locate the control valve for that zone, and begin troubleshooting it.  First make sure the flow control is open about halfway.  Then check the wire connections at the valve, and make sure the solenoid is operating.  It sounds to me like you may have either a loose wire or a bad solenoid.  Also make sure the wire for that zone is firmly attached to the terminal on the controller.
