QuestionMy Watermaster 57114 system was on all day while I was at work. I came home at 8:00 PM to find the street flooded and the system still on. The only way I could stop it was to turn the main water to the house off. This morning I turned the house water back on to get ready for work. Next I know the police are at my door because the neighbors reported the sprinkler is flooding the street again. I'll try replacing the batteries, but I am a newbie and did not install or understand much about the system. Should there be a way to shut off water to the system separate from the house main? Where would I find such a shutoff? Many thanks!
AnswerGlenn Miller,
I've always liked you music, but I thought you were dead.
I'm not too familiar with Watermater controllers, but I think you have a valve sticking open anyway.
You'll need to find your valves and isolate the one thats acting-up. Then manually open and close it a few times. If this doesn't work then it will need to be repaired or replaced.
