QuestionMatt,
The other day I managed to break the on/off/auto switch on the Hydrotek 2120 timer (the plastic knob cracked an broke itself). The timer controls a sta-rite centrifigal pump that connects to a Hydro-tek 4000 6 zone indexing valve. I have been searching online for a replacement part and that seems fruitless. In fact the only timer I am able to find for the system is the same brand Hydrotek mechanical timer. Are there other brand timers that can be used for the indexing system? Do you recommend staying with the pretty basic mechanical timer or is there a digital timer that has more programming options?
Thanks
Al
AnswerHi Al,
The Hydro-tech is one of the few systems I haven't had much experience with. I haven't worked with one for years. So my advice is limited.
The timer is a "Intermatic". If you google it you should find many choices and probably parts also. The timer is controlling the 220volt to the pump and I assume it must be utilizing a transformer to the control valve.
Good luck, wish I could be more help.
Matt
