QuestionI have a customer who has this pump. I doenst work. I turn it on at the controller which in turns kicks on the Pump start relay and does not at the motor. I have live juice there at the motor but nothing except the Motor gets how as heck. So I shut it off at the breaker but damn 20 min later it still feels hot as heck. Any suggestions??
AnswerBill,
I would suggest checking the 115-230 switch on the pump. Then make sure you are giving the correct power. If your using 230 volts then check at the pump terminals for 230 volt.
Pump motors are becoming less reliable over the last year or so. I sure it has something to do with the price of copper and "cost savings measures" in manufacturing. It is possible you have a bad motor. I've had 3 of them in the past month myself.
Good luck.
