Where can i buy a new transformer for a weathermatic controler?

Scott,
You can use any 24 volt transformer. Weathermatic transformers are the same as a Rainbird, Toro, Orbit, Hunter, etc. Just look at the "VA" rating on the transformer. They are generally, 40va (volt/amp). This is the amount of power they can handle.
Your local home improvement store should sell them.
