QuestionQUESTION: We have recently purchased our home with an older sprinkler system installed. The controller works great but we are having difficulty trying to adjust the span that the head actually waters. We have two heads, one on each corner of the lot and they spray 1/2 on the lawn and the other half they water the street and neighbours driveway. It seems like a waste of water. Could you please tell us what the adjustments are on the top and what they corresponde with? We would like to shorten up the watering swipe that the head takes. Thank you
ANSWER: I'd like to help, but I need to know what type of sprinkler you have. I can't find a reference for a Richdel 530. There should be a name and # on the cap of the sprinkler.

QUESTION: That is what is printed on the top of the sprinkler head. I believe it is from the "Rainbird" line or Richdel makes Rainbird?
AnswerMy guess is it was made by a different manufacturer and thats why I'm having a hard time locating info.
Try this link and see if it is the same sprinkler.

When you look at the top of the head does it have a hole which has a + and - around it. That is the adjustment. Most cases a small screwdriver will fit in it and you turn in the direction of the + or - to increase or decrease.
If you want to take a picture of the top of the sprinkler and e-mail to me it would help.
