Question
I have a RainDial sprinkler system.  I can set the dial to come on, but the sprinklers don't come up nor does the water come on.  How do I know if the system is turned on at the valves?

Answer
Make sure that your main valve for the system is on.  Then locate the irrigation valves, and find the flow control knob on top of the valves, and open it about halfway.  Then check your system. If nothing happens, open one of the valves manually ( there is a manual operation screw on top of the valve, it is usually smaller than the flow control).  If water comes on, then you have a problem with the controller or the wiring to the valves.
