Question
When I went to the community poolhouse, someone (kids probably) had been
playing with the controller.  The dials were not where they were supposed to
be.
Now only zone 1 comes on.  When I placed in test mode, zone 1 works but
the others don't.  If I move the other zone wires the the zone 1 terminal block
they will also work when the controller is testing through zone 1, so I know
the controller is not right.  Things have been working fine.  Would
programming prevent the test cycle from not firing through all the zones?

Any station that has been set to a 0 (zero) run time will be skipped during the test program of the ESP 6.  Double check the schedule to ensure all zones have run times programmed in to them and the testing feature should resume normally.
