Question
I have 6 zones in my yard.  One of my zones ( zone 1 in the front of the yard) does not come on.  On the control box it shows that it's on but none of the heads comes up and no water can be seen.  I thought that the heads maybe too overgrown with grass but one of the heads that I found still doesn't come up.  What should I do to get it working and is there an easy way or device to find the other heads in my yard? I have been poking the yard with a screw driver for days now.  Please help!

You could use air to pop the sprinklers up. In this case I not sure it would help though.
If the sprinklers won't pop-up with water I would guess the valve isn't opening. You will need to find the valve and do some checking on it. If you can't find the little green boxes the valves are in, you may need a contractor with a wire/valve locator to locate them.
