Until this year my multizone system worked fine, however a communication company broke two lines resulting in the pump burning out.  Pump has been replaced and constantantly runs now.  This is how we realized lines had been cut.  In the area of zones 1, 2, and 3 where they connect we located several cracks in lines which were repaired.  We investigated further and found two lines that run off about twenty feet from where there are three switches.  We are not sure if these lines that had two open ends and water was just running what needs to be done with them a switch and two heads or if they are to be connected together which we did.  Now zones 1,2,3 run together when we give the pump a power source, and the pumpt runs constantly.  When we try to switch zones no other zone will now come on and zones 1, 2, and 3 continue to run.

You have serious problems with your systems plumbing.  I would consult with a landscaper regarding making the repairs, and keep track of the expenses, then contact the company that damaged the lines and tell them you are sending them a bill for the repairs.
