Question
My system has worked fine for the last 7 yrs. This week, one zone got stuck and would not shut off.  The controller was turned off, it was even unplugged and the srinkler just kept going.  Do I need a new controller box or a new cylinoid?

The stuck valve is probably the valve not the controller. You will need to find the valve in the yard and dig it up. The solinoid is actually stuck open. You may be able to fix the problem by just removing and cleaning the solinoid. If you need further help, give me the model # of the valve and I can give better direction.
