If/when there is an electrical outage, is it necessary to reset the whole system?
What time will "show" when the power resumes?

Thanks for the question.
If a controller requires a battery, then it will retain the program during a power outage. Your controller does have battery back-up.
Assuming the battery is good, when the power resumes it should have the correct time, program etc.
