Question
I have an Orbit Sprinkler Timer When the timer is set and the dial is ine on position there a little raindrop in the window that say off. Do you have any suggestions.

If your timer is from the WaterMaster series, the rain-drop indicator shows the readiness status of the timer.  Be sure that the dial is in the correct position to operate the system.  If it is set correctly, it may be a faulty dial.  Also, check to insure your watering program is still set in your timer.  Although the dial is in the 'Auto' position, if there is no program to execute, some controllers will show an 'Off' message to indicate there's no program.  Some controllers will also indicate 'Off' when in the 'Auto' position when the rain sensor is wet and has halted the scheduled irrigation cycle.  And finally, check the plug.  If there is no power to the timer and the battery backup is the only source, the batteries will keep the program but will not operate the system and show 'Off' in the display.
